Cassie Eshelman is a woman of passion!
Her love for art and desire to teach others took her to attend SUNY New Paltz, in the Catskills of New York, for a degree in Art Education and language studies in French and American Sign Language. The beautifully scenic Hudson Valley was where she was first introduced to the depth that is ‘yoga’; that was nearly 20 years ago now. Since then her practice has expanded and deepened in ways that would fuse it into her being for the rest of her life. It was not long before she realized that her path was leading her to study yoga at its source, so in the beginning of 2012, Cassie packed up her bags again! It was a one-way ticket to India and she had no idea what she was getting herself into. After a month of travel in the northwest and an intensive teacher training program at Sivasoorya Divine School of Yoga, an ashram located in the southern state of Kerala, she knew that her days as a practitioner would hold new depth and now it was time to teach others. She then trained and received her certification to practice Thai massage and Thai Herbal Compress in Chiang Mai, Thailand. After years of traveling, living and working in Southeast Asia, and revisiting annually, Cassie intends to connect to communities through compassionate care and spiritual practice wherever the flow carries her next. The openness that she has experienced through her client and student base has been incredibly humbling and inspiring. She will always say 'thank you for trusting me with your care'...it means a lot to her and is held close to her heart however long our paths overlap. Cassie's exploration and interest in the flow of lymph in the body has really grown more than she could've imagined. Through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, Cassie learned how to apply Manual Lymphatic Drainage treatments and fell in head first. The innate ability to feel flow blockages, pressure, routing systems, etc. add immensely to her enjoyment of caring for and seeing the growth in her clients. She has a lot to say about the importance of Lymph maintenance and is looking forward to the public becoming more exposed to the benefits of a little "jump start". She is elated to share her natural ability and learned scientific techniques within the structure of the physiological processes of the body with all interested. Please request a chat and initial service to assess the health of your Lymphatic System and how it may be affecting and affected by your day-to-day. In her free time Cassie enjoys any activities outdoors; paddleboarding, hiking, swimming in the river, horseback-riding, playing Frisbee, and scouting out new parks, gardens, and arts & music festivals. She will always be a student, pursuing classes, workshops, conferences of varying interests and studies to enhance her knowing of self and ability to care for others in her life. May the adventures continue! |
